Southwest Music Academy provides private piano lessons in El Paso, both online and in-person.

Our director, Shirley Rhoades-Shannon, is an accomplished musician with nearly 40 years of professional performance and music teaching experience. A violinist by degree (B.A. and M.A. in Music Education from New Mexico State University), Mrs. Rhoades-Shannon previously worked as a music teacher in the Las Cruces public school system and as a church organist and choir director. As director of Southwest Music Academy, she has taught hundreds of students to play the piano in El Paso, Las Cruces and Alamogordo. She is currently selling easy piano sheet music for beginners on sheetmusicplus.com. Type in Southwest Music Academy and find all the songs. Songs are always being added so check back often.
